yes demo account is big source of learning , in the demo account many traders make their experience strong , and the traders could learn without any loss or profit , the loss and profit are not real when you practice in the demo account , but if the traders get the learning from real account , the loss and profit are real there in the real account , the traders must spend much time in the demo account and then enter in the real account , then traders could trade with confidence .

Absolutely correct . from my experience i also say when i am newbie then participate in some demo contest and trully saying after lossing in demo i cant learn anything because that time i tried to win prize and as a result because contest end i lost all of my money because of big lots . so i think demo contest dont give anything to newbie.
