yes understand the mt4 is very important. it with out understanding the mt4 one will not know how to install the indicators and how to manage it when their is challenges.

in forex money management is the ultimate. with out fund their will be nothing a trader can do. so making sure you still fund to trade with is very very important.

my method of trading is trading and targeting small pips and staying away from news and. making show i do not over trade also so as not to loss my account in the process.

good trading system
good money management
knowing went to enter trades
having the right patience to allow it run
knowing when the exit trades

yes one can predict pips some pips. but the issue is how consistent can one be in predicting.and how to know of how long pips will run before reversal.
